Insurance is a specialty of ours. Whether coverage is required for
a Fortune 100 account or a new venture, IMU can provide the necessary
coverage. Our policy covers overseas shipments aboard vessels or aircraft,
including inland transit when part of the through movement. We can
also provide insurance for domestic shipments by barge on inland waterways.
IMU's Marine Cargo policy provides protection for both importers and
exporters, and our international network of claim representatives
allows us to provide prompt service on foreign claims.
Most policies are tailored to meet the needs of the insured and require
individualized underwriting. We’re prepared to offer additional
coverages such as processing, storage and installation to qualified
risks.
